Love to Ride's new, inclusive challenge, "Roll and Stroll" aims to encourage Islanders to spend more time either walking or cycling this May. The challenge runs throughout May and includes walking/wheeling* and running, as well as cycling, giving everyone a chance to take part. It is about getting active as many days as possible and doesn't matter how far you travel or for what purpose (although we encourage active travel!). Islanders logging their rides, walks and runs, and encouraging others, will be entered into both local and UK prize draws. Jersey prizes including wireless headphones, afternoon tea and Active gym membership, and UK-wide prizes including a £4,000 holiday will be up for grabs. Those that register for the challenge by the end of April will be entered into a Jersey-only prize draw to win a Garmin Forerunner fitness watch. Find out more at lovetoride.net/jersey *wheeling is an equivalent to walking (moving at pedestrian pace), using wheeled aids. You can support both of the above initiatives by using the attached images and posters, resharing posts on our social channels, and encouraging colleagues to get involved!
