Welcome to La Moye School!

La Moye School is a high performing, inclusive school in the Parish of St. Brelade, Jersey. 

We have wonderful, friendly and motivated pupils, a dedicated and hard-working staff team, a committed P.T.A, supportive parents, and excellent facilities - including a great outdoor environment.

We pride ourselves on ensuring pupils and learning are at the centre of all that we do.

La Moye School, Jersey

As the PTA AGM is scheduled for next week Thursday 1st October at 6pm, the PTA would like to remind everyone of how crucial its role is to the life our school community. Whether you attended our Christmas Fair, Movie Nights, Discos, Bingo Nights, cake sales, summer events, donated prizes or cakes, volunteered your time, or simply came along to support us, every contribution has made a real difference. As you may know, after several rewarding years, the current core PTA committee has made the difficult decision to step down. We are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved together and feel it is now the right time for new parents and carers to bring fresh ideas and continue the fantastic work of the PTA. For your reference, the following funds were raised through 2025/2026: Cake sales £390.00 Movie Night £370.00 Christmas Fair £3600.00 Bingo £400.00 Disco £600.00 Uniform sales, about £1000.00 Leaving a healthy balance of approximately £8000.00 for the new PTA team!. We are therefore looking for a new team of volunteers to take on the core committee roles to help continue such excellent work. These roles include Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and others. You don't need previous experience, just enthusiasm, a willingness to work as part of a team, and a desire to support our children and school community. The outgoing committee will happily provide guidance and support to help ensure a smooth handover. Sadly, if no new committee is formed, the PTA will have no option but to dissolve. This would mean the loss of many of the events, fundraising opportunities and additional experiences that our children have enjoyed over the years. We sincerely hope some of our wonderful school community will consider stepping forward to continue this important work. Even a small amount of time can make a huge difference, and together we can ensure the PTA continues to thrive for future pupils.
